MiCamp Taupo, Whakamaru and Ruapehu are popular destinations for many schools. We offer a wide range of facilities and activities to accommodate your school needs.
If what you have seen so far interests you then we would love to meet with you and show you through our different sites and discuss our options with you.
With any inquiry your first point of contact will be our Bookings Manager who will work with your school camp co-coordinator to plan every aspect of your camping experience covering catering, accommodation, activities and pricing. You will initially be sent a camp overview, the tariff sheets, accommodation options and activity forms to look over and once a booking is confirmed you will be sent a Booking Form to sign.
Our qualified hosts will design an activities program with you that supports your education objectives and enhances your school's outdoor education. We have many activity combinations that range from easy to very challenging which encourages your students to step outside their comfort zone and builds their confidence. We have a strict Health and Safety Policy at MiCamp.
Sample camps include but are not limited to:
When you arrive at any one of our campsites you will be welcomed by our Camp Hosts. It is their responsibility to ensure your stay at MiCamp is fun, hassle free and runs according to your program. The first activity is the group welcome and Health and Safety briefing which everybody is required to attend. Parents and Teachers are welcome to enjoy our complimentary tea and coffee service at any time during their stay. The rest of your camp will run according to your program and booking requirements. If you have any queries or changes you are encouraged to see your Host or the Bookings team on [email protected] or ring our on duty staff member at any time during your stay.
