HISTORY

MiCAMP RUAPEHU HISTORY

In September 2007 Lake Taupo Christian Camp took over an existing camp site in Kakahi previously called Youth Haven and renamed the camp Ruapehu Christian Camp (RCC). The camp was initially started by the Mossop, Stewart and Forlong families together with the Taumarunui and Owhango Assemblies to supply a camping facility for Christian youth.  The staff and Management of LTCC worked hard to upgrade RCC and it has been servicing different sectors of the New Zealand communities since.  The Camp was renamed MiCamp Ruapehu in July 2013 during the re-branding of LTCC, RCC and LWCC.
