MiCamp can cater for group sizes of 198 at Taupo, 84 at Whakamaru and 37 at Ruapehu (currently unavailable). We can design any camp or function for your club or community group which includes but is not limited to training, awareness programs, specialised health camps, fun days, confidence building activities, sports days, rowing clubs, walking clubs, cycling clubs, sewing clubs, scrap-booking retreats, writers retreats, Photography club camps, celebrations, weddings and birthdays.
Our Taupo camp has the Lake Taupo just in front of the site which is suitable for swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating and sunset walks. There are many nature walks close to the camp and Mt Ruapehu is only 45 minutes away for those who enjoy skiing or snowboarding or would like to walk the world renown Tongariro Alpine Crossing.
Our Whakamaru Camp has the Waikato River Trails running past the front of the island which can be used for running, walking and cycling. The Whakamaru Lake is all around the island and is suitable for swimming, kayaking and rowing. The Island itself is very picturesque and together with a lot of activity options can be used for many functions.
Our Ruapehu Camp (currently unavailable) is situated along the Wanganui River and is close to the Glow worm walk. It is a lovely rural retreat facility suitable for a small group.
