MiCamp Trust stands on a legacy built by extraordinary individuals who embraced the vision God gave them and carried it forward over the years. Each of our campsites has a remarkable origin story that reflects God’s goodness and grace.
MiCamp Trust started with Lake Taupō Christian Camp and grew by welcoming Ruapehu in 2007 and Lake Whakamaru Christian Camp in 2012. In 2013, the organisation was rebranded as MiCamp Trust to reflect a growing family and community, creating a place where God’s message of love can continue to be shared through our leadership, staff and volunteers.
Over the years, many generous donations have been made, and hard work has gone into the development of the camp. We would like to acknowledge the numerous individuals, who have dedicated themselves to turning MiCamp into the organization that it has become today.
Today, across all our campsites, we are blessed to have the ability to host thousands of people per year, bringing the word of God to life through our events, programs, and shared experiences at camp. Our programmes and venues help to build character and confidence, while sharing the message of Christ to all ages.
